What's inside a dabba?
Each dabba is a curated set of premium hair accessories, chosen to work together as a colour story. The exact contents are listed on every product page. Every box arrives gift-ready in our keepsake box with tissue, ribbon, and a handwritten note card.
How much do your boxes cost?
Our curated dabbas run from $60 to $100, depending on how many premium pieces they contain. Individual pieces are $16.99 for premium statement pieces and $7.50–$9.99 for everyday pieces.
Can I build my own box?
Yes. Our Build Your Own Dabba builder lets you pick every piece:
- $50 — 1 premium piece + 4 everyday pieces
- $75 — 3 premium pieces + 4 everyday pieces
- $100 — 4 premium pieces + 6 everyday pieces
You'll see a running count as you choose, and you can add a gift message right in the builder. We'll email you within 24 hours to confirm your picks before we assemble the box.
Can I buy pieces individually?
Yes — every piece in our boxes is also sold on its own. Browse Premium Pieces and Everyday Pieces.
Can I include a gift message?
Always, and it's free. Add it in the builder if you're customizing, or in the order notes at checkout. We write every card by hand.
Do you do corporate or bulk orders?
Yes. We create custom boxes for teams, clients, and events, and we can match your brand colours. Email mydabba.ca@gmail.com with rough quantities and your timeline, or DM @mydabba.ca.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in Canada. We don't ship internationally yet.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address. Orders over $75 ship free.
How long does it take?
Every dabba is assembled by hand, so orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. Custom Build Your Own boxes may take an extra day while we confirm your picks. Once dispatched, delivery usually takes 2–8 business days depending on your province.
Can I track my order?
Yes — you'll get a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your parcel ships. If you haven't received tracking within 4 business days, email us.
Returns
What's your return policy?
You can request a return within 14 days of delivery, as long as items are unused and in their original packaging, including the gift box and ribbon. Email mydabba.ca@gmail.com with your order number to start a return. Return shipping is paid by the customer.
Custom Build Your Own boxes can't be returned, since they're assembled to your specification. For hygiene reasons we also can't accept worn hair accessories.

What if something arrives damaged?
Email us within 14 days with a photo and we'll cover the return shipping and send a replacement or a full refund — your choice. That's our mistake to fix, not yours.
Products
Will my pieces look exactly like the photos?
Very close, but not identical. We photograph every box ourselves, and our fabric flowers are shaped by hand — so petals sit a little differently from piece to piece. Colours can also vary slightly between screens.
How do I care for them?
Spot clean only with a damp cloth and let air dry. Don't machine wash, iron, or soak organza and satin pieces. Store clips flat and scrunchies loose rather than stretched.
Are these suitable for children?
Our pieces are designed for teens and adults. Smaller clips and ties contain small parts and aren't suitable for children under three.
Privacy
What do you do with my information?
We collect only what we need to fill your order and, if you ask us to, to send you occasional updates. We never sell your information. You can ask to see, correct, or delete what we hold at any time by emailing mydabba.ca@gmail.com. See our privacy policy for the full picture, including your rights under PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25.
Do you send marketing emails?
Only if you opt in, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe. We follow Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL).
